citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.
Troop 832 is
available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10
years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11,
but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of

Bus
Ministry-Dan and Audrey
Williams
For over forty years
the Bus Ministry of The Apostolic Sanctuary as reached out to children of all
ages and race across the Quad-Cities. Dedicated men and women minister weekly to
encourage Sunday school attendance as an alternative to the various vices that
entice our younger generation. Pop Sunday, Ice Cream socials, dirt and worms,
Popcorn Sunday, Easter egg hunt, Candy Rain, Popsicle Sunday, and Dollar Sunday
are just a few of the many ways we "compel" (Luke 14: 23) the children to come
hear the Word of God!

Comfort
Ministry-Greg and Annette
Lindsey
Every week, precious
people in Nursing homes across the Quad-Cities are forgotten as society goes
about its busy life. We at The Apostolic Sanctuary take this ministry extremely
serious. Currently, we minister to over 400 seniors in five separate Nursing
home facilities on a weekly basis. A special visit by their bed for prayer and a
simple "I love you," a time of singing traditional hymns of worship and
thanksgiving, as well as sharing the precious Word of God, help to make them
feel important and esteemed.

Deaf
Ministry-Jeff Williams
There are over 250
million deaf people world-wide (for God so loved the "deaf" world that he gave
his only begotten son); 98% are still waiting to "hear" (that whosoever believes
in him, shall not perish but have everlasting life)-John 3:16
At The Apostolic
Sanctuary we are excited about the potential of ministering to this un-reached
element of our society. With six qualified interpreters, we are ready and able
to provide a quality service to those who need assistance in this area. There is
a special anointing that flows as the Deaf choir ministers in song and heaven is
stirred by the "sound" of their praise.

Encounter
- Larry and Carrie Wall, and Cranston and Marisa Willis
Our youth are not
only the future of the church, but they are a vital part of who we are today.
The youth committee invests countless hours of their time to provide distinctive
opportunities for entertainment, spiritual strength, and personal development.
They currently meet every Thursday and once a month on Saturday. You can check the calendar for their next event.
Home and
Family-Duane and Rhonda
Lindsey
At The Apostolic
Sanctuary we teach God is number one, your FAMILY is number two, and the church
is number three; and if each is kept in the proper position, then none of them
will suffer. We believe the church is only as strong as the individual family
units. Therefore, we place heavy emphasis on strengthening the family. On
Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day our families come together on church
grounds for some Summe-rtime fellowship, food, and fun. We also provide an
annual marriage retreat to fortify the bond of the husband and wife.

H.O.P.E.
(Helping Other People Excel)-Lou
Ramirez
The Quad-Cities is
nearly 370,000 people strong. It is the 116 largest metro area in the United
States. Every day thousands cry out for hope; they are reaching for something
that only God can give. Through Him, we work to give them H.O.P.E. (Helping
Other People Excel). Cup of love provides us the opportunity to bless them both
naturally and spiritually. We teach Bible studies in the jail and conduct
Apostolic services in the county jail and state prison.
The CIP
program (Christian Intervention Program) will began when we are new
facilities are complete. Classes will be provided for those who want freedom
from these addictions; more information will be available in the near future.

QC
Prayer Force-Willard and
Karen Willhouse
It is still true
today-God answers prayer! He also expects us to pray daily and deepen our walk
with Him through personal devotion. In order to bond, stimulate, organize, and
mobilize the saints of The Apostolic Sanctuary in faith and prayer for specific
needs and requests, we come together on a monthly basis in homes throughout the
Quad-Cities. Our desire is to attain a spirit of unity in prayer that will allow
God to work miraculously in our midst (Mark 11:24, Luke 11:9, and John 15:7).
Each member is encouraged to invite a neighbor, friend, or stranger to join
these powerful times of unity. No matter your age, race, or location, I know
there is a place for you!

Kitchen-Jodi
Ineichen
Part of our
philosophy at The Apostolic Sanctuary is "a church that is together stays
together." We are blessed with a first-class commercial kitchen, as well as
top-notch cooks who love to minister and see us grow. Family nights will be
an important part of our future; full menus, games, activities, and fellowship
will help us to minister to one another, but also allow us to reach out to our
community in a unique way.
Ladies
Ministry-Mindy Randol
This ministry is led
by our first lady and attempts to honor, support, and motivate this vital
element of The Apostolic Sanctuary. Monthly meetings, which might include
devotions or Bible studies, shopping trips, or a ladies' night out, and weekly
prayer meetings are some of the ways we endeavor to strengthen and encourage the
ladies of our church. Two overnight trips are planned annually; one is geared
towards shopping and entertainment and the other is our District Ladies
Conference in Bloomington, IL. In addition, a yearly Ladies' Banquet is held in
May to honor them for the special role they perform in God's kingdom.

Men
Ministry-Duane Lindsey
Men are extremely
important to the moral strength of our society. As the spiritual head of the
family it is essential that they surround themselves with godly influences. We
invite you to attend one of our monthly prayer breakfasts; where we feed our
soul with the Word and our flesh with some of the best cooking around. The men
also enjoy a weekly basketball session (through the winter months), flag
football, and softball. A three-fold cord is not easily broken (Ecclesiastics 4:
12) and our goal is to stand in the gap for each other.

The Apostolic

Piano, organ, bass, acoustic guitar, drums, brass, and strings blend together in
traditional, contemporary, and modern worship. They prayerfully set the tone of
each service as they minister before the throne of God. Come and worship with
our anointed praise team!

Puppet
Ministry-Teresa
Himbebauch
This is exactly what
it says-an hour filled with powerful teaching of the God's Word through puppets,
songs, dramas, illustrative preaching, and exciting interaction. This dedicated
group ministers every Sunday morning during our Sunday school sessions. You
don't want to miss, because you never know what they will come up with next to
make the Word become real to the children. Even the adults look forward to them
coming to the "big" church and making us all "become as little children"
(Matthew 18: 3). Why not let your kids come?
Guest Relations -David
and Zenetta Adkins

Single
Adult Ministry - Dustin

Single Adult
Ministry is here to affirm adults who are single by choice or by circumstance as
whole, worthwhile persons and meet their unique spiritual and social needs. We
are endeavoring to reach out to all singles (i.e. never married, divorced,
single parents, and widowed) by offering many ports of entry to supportive
Christian fellowship through a variety of activities and programs. We want to
build a strong single adult constituency for the purpose of edifying the church
and reaching out to those who do not know Jesus. This ministry is divided into
three segments:
Sunday
School Ministry-Rhonda
Lindsey
The backbone of our
church for the past forty years has been our desire to be a service to the
community, as well as "train up a child in the way he should go and when he is
old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22: 6) Our dedicated and qualified
staff of over thirty is committed to making this time of learning both enjoyable
and informative. The learning centers are utilized as a teaching tool, while
keeping the environment warm, inviting, and enlightening. Bible stories and
theme-related crafts, games and snacks are a part of each Sunday morning class.
All children are invited and encouraged to join us for an exciting time of
learning God's Word.
Sunshine
Girls-Jeannie Albright
This ministry was
created to minister to the special needs of our daughters with the primary goal
of presenting them as accomplished, well-mannered young ladies in today's world.
It is our desire to teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us-developing
our girls spiritually and mentally - and to provide a setting in which they can
develop their gifts and abilities. Each member has a uniform and is encouraged
to participate in meetings and special activities to earn badges and beads. The
girls are divided into four groups ranging in ages from 5-18 and are currently
meeting every other Tuesday evening at 6:30.
Ushers-Ken
Holmes
Our dedicated and
friendly ushering staff assists and serves our saints and guests to assure they
are comfortable in every service. From opening doors, helping distribute
handouts, finding seats for our guests, and making sure they keep one eye on
Pastor-and all this done with a smile!
World
Missions-Tommy and Teresa
Huff
Each year we
endeavor to stand by our missionaries, both foreign and home, with prayer and
finances. Each month a newsletter is given to the members that spotlights a
missionary we support, shares various good reports, and encourages them to
continue their giving to the Sanctuary Sacrifice.
Young
Married Ministry-Brett
and Karey Rowell
We all understand
the growing process of the newly married; toothbrush in the wrong spot,
overlapping schedules, in-laws, and "my clothes go where?" It is the desire of
this ministry to be a support and encouragement as we share moments of laughter,
sadness, and victories. The Rowells are always coming up with fun and fresh
ideas to strengthen young family ties and to promote fellowship among our young
couples. Some recent activities include Family Bowling night, a financial
planning seminar, a Western Hoe Down cookout and a Valentine's Dinner. Our young
families are grateful for this supportive network of friends.
