Self Examination Time

Take a look inside! Is it really everyone else's fault or do I need to make some adjustments in my walk with Christ? Too many times we allow "little" things to eat away at our relationship with Him. Those "things" diminish our time invested in personal devotion (or its effectiveness) and therefore drives us further from His presence (when you don't pray, you will stray). The molehill looks like a mountain; the sprinkle feels like a downpour; the "no" looks like rejection; change feels like a challenge; and hope is replaced by hurt. Today, purpose in your heart to seek ye first the kingdom of God — let Him work! When we are led by our feelings, failures, or frustrations, we find ourselves in the realm of spiritual rejection and resentment. When we are full of the Spirit, we can be led by the Spirit, and we shall return in the power of the Spirit; no matter what the temptation or test (Luke 4:1-14). So, today, I challenge you to spend time in prayer and praise, and release the potential of His promises in your life. Don't let the enemy win; Christ is worth fighting your flesh for! Go and have a God day...
